Sofia Carved Eggshell Exhibition Opens on the 14th of May 2011

Tomorrow marks the big day. I have discovered that the museum where the exhibition will be is the old royal palace. It is right in the center of the capitol city. This exhibition will be part of the celebration of museums which is held throughout the European Union. Here you can see the front of the museum where a banner is hung to mark the event.

The side of the museum is quite amazing as well.

Here are a few photos of the exhibition under construction. Things went smoother than in Velingrad but of course we had a few minor glitches to work through. With Sveltla’s help and direction we got everything in place 24 hours before the scheduled opening time.

Thanks to the early completion I was able to take in a few sights.

  2. Dear Brian,
I am happy to tell you that there have been about 10 000 visitors in our museum – respectively in your exhibition of carved eggs solely in the Night of Museums – on Saturday.
What about you – could you make a tour around various museums on Saturday? What you think about it?

  3. How cool was it to show your art in another country. You are one lucky artist. will you go to Bulgaria again?

  4. I hope to show again in Bulgaria. I am actually seeking philanthropic individuals and companies who would like to sponsor a second exhibit to Bulgaria. if I can put it together on this side I will be privileged to show my work in even more cities than last time I exhibited there in Bulgaria. So if you know any philanthropists seeking a good investment please have them contact me. Thank you for your interest in my art. i appreciate you taking the time to comment on the postings.
